thought id introduce myself...
been lurking for a while, great site and great group of guys with info on here...got a 95 dakota sport 4x4 3.9l 5 speed with 230k kms on it.
only mods so far are cosmetic, stripped the moldings, painted the bumpers and flares body color, installed the rear hitch and sir micheals roll pan, installed the mopar accesories tool box (100.00 on craigslist, lol), audio wise i got MTX components and speakers in the rear powered by ppi amp, custom sub box being made for under the ext cab seats with shallow mount pioneer 10" sub, alpine flip out dvd deck with back up camera, HID headlights and fog's....interior pics will be up soon the interior is apart as i await the seatcovers to come back from the upholsterers...
HID headlights only:
With fogs:
i wanted to do a key/block lift on it but when we went underneath seems someone did some serious off roading with it and smacked up the crossmember where the keys are limiting the access severly...so either we heat it up and hope we can pull it back or we just do a 3" body lift. love the 33" tire look and hope someone can confirm for me if the 3" body lift can clear 33" tires... currently its on 30"s...

Welcome to DodgeForum!!
Good looking truck you got there. The 3 inch body lift for our generation trucks are impossible to come by these days. You can find the 2 inch body lift all day long. But a 2 inch body lift and 2-3 inches out of the torsion bars can fit 33s up front. Have you tried to tighten the factory keys before you go and buy aftermarket reindexed keys? You can usually get 2 inches out of the factory keys. Do you have pictures of the damage to the crossmember?

Nice lookin' rig! Welcome to the forums. Are those fog lights integrated in the faring or are they bolted to the bumper? they look really good in the pic.
Nevermind, the rest of the pics finally got through our firewall and I see that the fogs are integrated. Did the truck come with that faring? If not where did you get it? That's what I want to do to mine.

thanks! the lower valance? yes it came with the truck, i was under the assumption it was stock on dakota sports with the fog option maybe? i got two factory switches inside under the steering column area one activates the fogs, the other i haev not figured out yet....
next time i get it on the hoist ill try and snap pics of the damage, im aware that i can crank the keys, i was hoping to do that last week but when we went to inspect them the cross member was all banged up....
so i would have to do a 2" body lift and a 2" suspension to fit 33's? i have looked thru the faq and thought a 2" suspension was all i would need to clear 33's...thats why i assumed the body lift would do the same...
hoping to have my interior back next week along with my sub box!!! cant wait...
i do want to get new shocks though...ill never really go off roading with this thing but was wondering what you guys would recommend, my choices so far are monro matics (100 for all four), monroe sensatracs (200 for all four), or rough country nitro (200 for all four). its mostly a street truck and will be towing our civic race cars in the summer...

Nice! That looks like mine was. I had to bend it back into place a few times (Now I got a skid plate I'm covered).
What I did was drill a hole on the side. Then hook up a HD bolt and a large plate on the other side. Then hookup a towrope to it and a tree. Then slowly put it in reverse. Let Idle speed move the truck. Easy job, and fun.
