I don't remeber the year they stopped using them, but not all the 1st gens had those. My '95 doesn't.

The irony is, both times you've said that one to me my truck has been out of service! Just like last time my truck is only as fast as I can push it until I get the transfer case rebuilt!

I have a 95 Dak 4X4 and my front axle looks like that too, same seal leak and everything. Heck, even my rear main seeps some too but luckily haynes manual says it can be replaced by just dropping the pan.
