Yes the battery can disable it. But pull the fuse too.

 

There is no fuse cover for the in cab fuse box. Does anyone have a diagram of it?

Did it work? I think I have the same problem.

 

I changed the ignition switch and it still wont start. So I am out of ideas. Also the problems are spreading. And other engine problems are starting to emerge. Unfortunately i think the truck is no longer economical to repair. Last year we spent over 3k on it. Thanks again for all of your advice in this matter.
