You should of went to autozone or any parts stores. They are $1 each. And platinums are not good for our engines. They will not harm it but will not help as much as the autolites 3923.

I use the autolites, like them. I also use Accel spark plug wires. Got them from Summit with the summit brand distributor cap.

Fram is more known for their stock style filter. But even for stock style filter, I say it is a good brand.

sorry guys but i will argue this one. i put bosch platinum plugs in mine and it took care of the rattle in my 3.9. i had someone dump junk in my gas more than once (ex girlfriend) and the idle went up but it never missed. as far as i'm concerned the platinum are the best. i did not loose any compression using them (100,000 km - 70,000 miles) and found they fire through anything.
just giving my experience for an 89 with duel point injection, your multi-port may be different but i don't see how.
isn't autolites ford?

As far as I know, its not neccessarily platinum plugs that are bad, just multiple electrode... like the ones that say +2 or +4.

No, Autolite is not Ford, autolite is a 3rd party brand. Ford's parts maker is Motorcraft.

Fram's standard line of oil filter are bad because the filter element they use is cheap, doesn't filter much, the anti-drain back valves are cheap and weak and often fail. If you are going to use fram, use their tough guard line, but I would suggest skipping them all together and using Purolator PureOne, Wix, or Bosch.
