#13
Originally in your other thread i was going to post this but since they were merged heres the after shots of the storm i was talking about in my WinterTime thread that hit on the 8th Tuesday night and lasted until wednesday morning the 9th
we got at least a foot of wet snow (when i say wet i mean heavier and more packable snow because it was in the high 20s to low 30s)
Back Yard
Dog in it
Still more to come that havnt been uploaded yet of the truck and the street
Heres the rest of them
The Street (which never got plowed until 11 something in the morning)
Dont know why my sis didnt take a pic of the other end of the street
Heres the truck (pics werent takin before the truck was cleaned off)
I have no ****in clue as to why that picture is on its side even though its strait on phot bucket
well for the story i wasnt driving that day because my dads daily driver was and still is in the transmission shop and he drives more than i do on average though he said it did just fine, slipped around some and when i drove it when snow was still on the streets i got the chance to swing it around...once, i wanted to have some fun with it,... but i might soon because its gunna be snowin again sometime soon and my dads dd should be done early this week

i'm guessing that this is gonna be a bad year for snow in the illinois - mich -toronto - buffalo area. on the up side if your a hockey fan the i think the blackhawks are gonna kick butt this year. i'm a flyer fan but i watch the hawks every chance i get.
as for this storm, it is suppose to stall over top of us (nova scotia) for 4 days
sunday - 20cm of snow (8 inches)
monday - 5 cm of snow (about 3 inches) plus freezing rain
tuesday - freezing rain plus rain
wed - rain
this is not gonna be pretty!

he he he! sorry burn but the same thing happened here. in 03 we had a ton of snow and sled and snowblower sales went way up the next fall. we hardly got any snow for the next 3 years. by the end you could get a sled or snowblower on e-bay for a bag of hockey pucks (small bag)
i know what you mean blue, i heard about that 3 feet, just nasty!
ps burn im about to watch the steelers game, got any room in that corner?

No pictures but, we got about 4" just north of the Lehigh Valley PA. I was out in the snow at 3 am helping my wife with her deliveries. We finished up about 10 am. My truck suffered a wheel casualty. My left front tire sacrificed itself for the greater good. Now I have to replace the two fronts before I head up to Boston this weekend to move my kid into her dorm. Good times...
