is your problem the wipers stop other than straight across or they flop around while wiping?

you got a loose connection. remove the wipers. remove the cowel. check the linkage with the wipers on and replace the bushing that causes the slop.

if you got metal and rubber clip on bushings, they are a lot better than the factory plastic ones.

Sorry I couldn't answer sooner but have had ISP & comp problems. I had the same problem with my wipers & I got a "wiper linkage bushings" set @ local O'Reilly s. Found them(2) in a pack in the HELP section & they're made by DORMAN. While you're in there, might as well remove the wiper motor & place a lockwasher where the linkage bolts to the wiper motor. This takes all the 'slop' out of the linkage & may help the plastic/rubber attaching bushing last a while longer.
Hope everyone is having a nice & safe Holiday Season.
