the door speaker covers on an 89 are exactly the same as the handle covers. 4 tabs to hold it in place. had guys kick the lower door when they got out and the speaker cover went flying.

Oh right then. Read it wrong. Anyway I still must be doing something wrong, these things simply won't stay in place!

If all 4 tabs are there, I'm going to guess the plastic frame of the door handle is what is broken.

On my 88 I took out some of the trim to clean them and the door kicker ones didn't screw back it securely, liked the screw lost it's grip.... PISSED ME OFF!

Well, On my truck I have a larger trim piece and the damn window/lock button unit wont come out. Is there a clip I can disconnect? I REALLY don't want to snip and resplice the wires!

My 95 Dak has those as well and on the drivers door the bottom 2 tabs are broke, so i took some double stick tape and taped them on. Now they don't fall off when i shut the door.
