I'm not looking for anything crazy. It's my DD, and I dont want a crazy lift on this thing. Just some nicer tires for the couple times I have fun in the snow, mud, and sand.

Well just like we all said that will give you what you want. And for more lift Ideas, NOT ALL CRAZY, check the FAQ2.

so would that be the same then for a 2wd. i have a 91 318 that i want to put 31 10.5 15 on but want to know about what im getting in to for clearence issues.

No for 2wd you don't have torsion bars. You have a coil suspension. You can add in coil spring spacers to lift the front end. 2in. The rear you can add in add a leafs to get 1-2in. You can install a body lift kit for another 2in. That will allow you to clear 31's.

Also just like above check the FAQ2 in this section for TONS of lift Ideas.
