'92 3.9 4x4 Wont shift into OD
#11
They are pretty much self explanatory!! 12 is accepted to be beginning of codes, 55 is end of codes. The rest list the problem associated with each code!
I'd be willing to bet the OD issue is because of the code 15. The computer uses the speed sensor input as part of the shift into OD.
Straight from the FSM:
to control overdrive operation.
As for code 52, the o2 reading a non-compensatable mixture can be caused by a bad o2 sensor, but is more often caused by a bad map sensor or tps. The FSM has instructions for testing the various sensors and is available for free download in faq2.
As for code 31, you probably need to replace the EVAP purge valve.

Straight from the FSM:
The PCM circuit for overdrive is controlled by inputs
from the engine coolant temperature sensor and
vehicle speed sensor. If coolant temperature and vehicle
speed are not within the preset PCM specifications,
the PCM will not allow the transmission to
shift into overdrive. These preset PCM specifications
must be met before the push-button switch will be allowed
