I just talked to my grandpa, who has worked with me on my truck, he said we had already replaced the IAC, what else could it be.

It does move. It screws in and out to adjust the air flow into the engine to keep Idle. Even new ones do fail. It is a very common problem.

I had to replace the IAC 3 times in two weeks when mine went bad. Check to see if yours has a warrenty and go replace it again. We aren't trying to steer you the wrong way, and I wasn't joking when I said they are notorious for freezing up.

But I did figure this out since my truck has been a manual. If you are coasting and have it in neutral, the IAC keeps the engine idling at around 1000 rpms and as soon as you come to a stop (the VSS reads nothing), it drops the engine to its normal idle. Try doing that, and if the idle speed doesn't change from moving to stopped, you have a bad IAC.

Give it a few days to learn the new IAC. Thats normal behavior. If it doesn't clear itself up, then there is another problem.
