'92 318 Longtubes???

Default '92 318 Longtubes???

Can anyone tell me if there is any company that sells longtube headers for the 1st gen dakotas???

Not that I know of specifically, but there are plenty of longtubes for the 318 magnums! Making them fit is up to you.

Do you know what could be done to make them fit?

I seen where on person put header flange spacer on one and put longtube Ram headers on, but it was a 99 model 318.

It really depends on why they don't fit! I've never seen any pictures of a 2wd 1st gen with long tubes on it, so I've never seen how they might fit. One person on here who hasn't been on in a while put mid-lengths on his truck.

Just to let you know the long tube headers are for race engine setups. Shorty headers are all you need for stock and modified engines. And there are shorties that bolt up in place of the exhaust manifolds. No modifications needed for them.

But if you set on long tube headers, find some with a back side drop. And you may need to cut or bend and weld in flanges or who knows until you find some and try them.

Well i'd really like to have a set of longtubes just to be different. I mean i don't have to have them but would like to just to say i got them.
