clunking noise from front on decel/coast
just recently noticed a rotational clunking noise coming from the front end of the truck. checked all ball joints, tie rods, brakes, etc from the front on the hoist. can feel it thru the pedals and floor board feels like the front of the truck. checked the driveshaft u joints as well, the axles seem fine too...
i notice it on decel/coast not on accel, makes the noise regardless of gear, clutch in/out neutral etc... goes "clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk" based on rotation/speed. can it be the hubs? locking/unlocking? any way to fix/repair it?

did that no noise.... its only on coast/decel and the suspension has to be loaded....i was hoping its the cv's simple fix...
similar noise happened on myfwd impala but it made it on accel
anyway to check the hubs?

took it for another test drive...this time did downshift decel/engine braking etc...only hear/feel it on coast when there is no load or very little load...also when i put my feet on the floor board off the pedals can feel the clunking...ill have to wait till monday or tues to tear into it....im hoping its the cv axles and ill swap out ball joints to new ones maybe as well.
