No swap kits. You can check http://www.engine-swaps.com/ for MAYBE a engine motor mount.
A few Gen 2 has done it. They are the same as ours.

As for passing CA emission laws, I'm not 100% but I'm sure it will pass. The law is usually as long as it is a newer engine and all the emission controls are all included and functioning.

Some states are PITA's when it comes to going from a 6cyl to an 8cyl on the title and reg. Check your laws to see if there are any hidin fees before you start it. Like some states charge less for older vehicles but will that change with a new engine. Will it change your tax and reg fees every year.
