Default Interior Panel Removal

Have a 93 dakota ext. cab

Trying to remove everything I possibly can on the interior without too much effort so I can spray paint easier without the risk of overspray everywhere including the windows.

Just painted the door panels and the panels under the dash.

Wondering how hard it is to remove the panels that cover the side of the cab in the back. Dont want to crack anything, so how hard is it to remove them, and whats the risk of cracking something.

I know the seatbelt is mounted in front of the panel so Ill have to remove that torx bolt. The same bolt that secures the seat belt buckle to the floor. When I tried removing that one I took a crescent wrench to the screwdriver thinking I could at least get the bolt started and I broke the screwdriver so I had to take it to a shop to get it out with an impact wrench. So is that bolt as hard as the one that is on the floor.

What size of head do I need for that bolt. I broke the screwdriver plus I lost it. Im thinking it was a T-47 torx.

Any other parts in the interior that you think could be taken out without too much effort? Back Rest?

What about the headliner do you just remove the panels?

Should of made the post shorter since this is not that interesting of a topic but my main points were:

Size of the torx screwdriver I need to unscrew the bolt that secures the seatbelt to the side of the cab.

Difficulty of removing the side panels?

How to remove headliner?

I'm not sure on the size but ya it is a large size. I can check tomorrow. But you usually can buy a set of them for cheep. The seat belts have to come off. Back and front. Then one screw in the back corner. Then the door seals. Remove the rear back rest. It just pulls off. The the panel has to slid forward to slip off of the door frame.

The panels have to come off before the headliner. Then the sun visors, and the handle and garment hooks, dome light. Then the front door pillars.

they sell torx bit socket sets at harbor freight for cheap, useful to have as there's a few torx bolts scattered around the truck. The interior comes out really easy in our trucks I have noticed!
