Yes there is a big difference with the lift on. It is worth it. Easy to install. Cheep. Most places have them for under $100. www.summitracing.com

I found it online shipped to the door for $90 and some coins. Don't get me wrong, I would love to do a suspension lift on it. But I just can't give up that nice soft ride and don't wanna mess that up. I just need some air.

Why is the kit saying to get a new fan and lower rad hose? Wont the radiator rise with the truck? I'm confused here. Anyone got a pic of what they are talking about in this area? Cause I'm thinking I'm gonna do the 2" body before the end of the summer.

The radiator hose rises on just the radiator side with the body. The engine stays put. The fan shroud also rises with the body, but the fan stays put.

When I did my body lift, I took that opportunity to put in an electric fan to avoid spending all that time to fix the stupid mechanical one.

4X4 said something about making a spacer for the shift linkage, was this just a typo, or what? I thought the only spacer needed was for the steering shaft.

Anybody got a link for a reliable but cheap eletric fan? Will I need to make any adjustments if I purchase a new electrical fan.

Not a typo. If you have an automatic transmission, the shifter linkage that drops down from the steering column to the assembly bolted to the frame needs to be lengthened.

You may want to make a checklist of everything that needs to be loosened or removed so you don't stretch or break anything while jacking the body up!

I bought my efan, relay, switch and wires from my local autozone for under $100 and it has worked good. It has a hard time keeping the heat down if the A/C is on on a 100 degree day though. I'll probably install another one before summer comes around. I almost never turn it on in the winter though.
