Just looking through the different generations and we have access to a soft copy to all but our generation? What gives? That sucks. Would be nice to have!

Um... check faq2. We have them for both the '95 and '96. The '95 can be used for '92-'95, keeping in mind that there are some minor electrical differences. Unfortunately, we have nothing for the '87-'91.
