You know, I always thought it would be cool to take a 5.9L i6 Cummins Turbo Diesel and put it in a green Dakota with a lowering kit, a winch, 4.00 gear ratio, and supports on the frame to handle the torque, all on a manual tranny.

 

If you're talking about the transfer case, I believe most Dak's had NP231's but the input shafts are different.

 

twin turbos, more fuel, a bit of nitrous and water meth, and a 13.00 1/4 mile pass. Lookin for 300rwhp and 600rwft/lbs torque.
