while installing the tranny cooler
i found that my truck has a factory cooler that is located between the a/c condenser and the radiator. its a decent size cooler but im still gonna install the new one due to this one possibly needing a flush.

I'd disconnect that one and flush it with diesel. Why spend money on something perfectly good.

Some people conceder the stock to be a restrictive of the flow. So an aftermarket cooler with larger interior will flow better.

They didn't all come with the extra coolers.
ALL Dakota's with automatics did come with a cooler integrated into the radiator.
