I just hard wired driving lights on my intrepid by removing the headlight switch and finding which wire was for the headlights and soldered my wire onto that terminal. I even used the included switch to be able to turn them off independant of the headlights.

You want them on all the time with the headlights or on when the headlights and a separate switch in the cab is on. Or do you want them independently controlled through a switch that turns on and off with the truck?

I want them to turn on when I turn the headlights on. I'm basically just putting these on because the stock headlights are horrible. These are driving lights not fog lights. I made a mistake.

What you'll need a relay (Napa #GRO 448405 or similar), fully insulated female push on connectors (at least 4), ring connector with 1/4" holes for battery connection, fuse holder with 12 gauge wiring leads and 15 amp fuse, lengths of red and black 12 gauge wiring, butt connectors (at least 2) and heat shrink tubing. Your choice of connector whether crimp or solder, I've never had an issue with crimps but some have.
