gas leak after tree pull???

Default gas leak after tree pull???

i was pulling trees down the other day and i noticed a gas smell so i stopped, looked under truck and gas was flowing from top of tank covering bottom....

any ideas to what i broke?? the truck was bouncing quite a bit pulling some trees...

driving around regular now, nothing leaking to underside of tank but gas light keeps going on and off...

and gas guage doesnt work so i dont know...

Sounds like you broke a tank retainer strap, or the tank wasn't tied down tight to start with, and the bouncing banged the top of the fuel pump up against the bed. To replace the pump, you have to drop the tank or pull/lift the bed off. Good luck with that. Replacement pumps are less than $200.

easiest way.. yank the box, go from there.
