You know you own a Dakota when you open the hood and realize, "There's a V-8 in there!" (or at least enough room for one)

You know you own a Dakota when you do front brakes and the previous owner has already stripped out the caliper pin holes on the knuckle.

only the front passenger side at the top. finally gave up on the repair and replaced the knuckle. there is a few companys that have healy-coil repair kits but they did not work for me because i had a lot of miles on it from when i bought it.

I faced that same problem when I replaced my ball joints. The truck was down for an extra two days while I hunted down a replacement knuckle for the driver's side.

When you look at the axle tag and it says 3.73, then crack open the diff and find it stamped 3.55 %%%##^*#

when you go to change the oil in your front differential and realize you can't remove the front skid plate cuz the front bolts are ruined.
