just wondering...instead of steel wool would fine grain sand paper work too? ithought about this and even attempted(with auto body paint) to see what my interior would look like black(to match my truck)but sprayed a bottom corner to see what it would look like...

and from your pics it looks good

318 recommended scotch brite pads, which I'll have to agree. You could use sandpaper but it mite be hard not to overwork an area and dig into the plastic too much in areas.

in sted of scraching to get adhesion you could use an adhesion promoter called bull bog in made for this app and also to ger good even texur on fabric you spray like normal and then brush the dye in this will keep it from geting custy. we did this alot at the restoration shop i use to work at i think at the major parts houses have it (not too sure about oraly we dont have them in sfl)
