Did Dodge or the aftermarket ever offer rear sway bars for any of the first generation 2WD dakotas with 8 1/4 axle? Like the Shelby, perhaps?
I have seen after market bars for 4WD advertised, and 2WD with the 7 1/4 axle, but not the 2WD and 8 1/4....

I bought an aftermarket one from Summit Racing a few years back, they never asked my axle size. It won't fit with the 4 link air suspension now - you want a deal on one?
