Default rough running ' 93 dakota 5.2 litre

Help! My Dakota will start running and idling very rough for no apparent reason. It acts like someone threw a switch, it will be running fine one minute, then acting likes it's missing. Does not not seem to matter much about temperature of engine, wet or dry out, etc. any suggestions. thankx

A bad Idle could be a bad IAC Idle Air Control valve. You could try replacing it. You could also have a vacuum leak. Many other possibilities. A tune up like plugs wires dist cap and rotor change all oils and all filters.
