Default Stalled!

I have posted here about my '94 Dakota before it was stalling at a stop right after my speedometer stopped working. The other day I was driving and it stalled while I was in gear and doing about 25mph. I had just replaced the speed sensor in hopes that it would fix my speedo and stalling prob. Well the speedo still doesn't work and now this, I checked the wire harness to see if it was grounding out somewhere but didn't see any exposed wires also did a continuity test and got a good signal. I cleaned the IAC to see if it would help the stalling problem but haven't driven far enough for the truck to get warm. Is there anything else I could check?

Did it start right back up or did it take a little bit to start? My 93 did the stalling thing a couple of times then cleared up and about a month later the fuel pump crapped out on me while I was going to work got that fixed and no more stalling

Sounds like you got a wire problem on the speed sensor or speedo circut. And the stalling may be due to the bad splice issues. Check the FAQ in this section for info on the splice and for wiring diagrams.

Check your codes, the splices/wiring as said, do a tune up and run a can of Sea Foam through the tank...with higher octane gas. Check your fuel pressure, too, and change your fuel filter.

I did replace the fuel pump a couple of months ago so that shouldn't be the problem. Guess I'll have to pull out the ohm meter and dig in. Thanks for the help. I'll post any results and prob more questions.
