Hesitation issue
I have an intermittent hesitation issue I can't figure out what the problem is. Just yesterday I replaced the fuel filter, pcv valce and did a tune up, replaced everything with new. I was advised it could be a vaccuum leak. I need some advice on probable causes.
I did a compression test before putting in the new plugs and everything was good. I am considering replacing my o2 sensor and either the egr gasket or the egr itself but I honestly want to avoid the added costs. I checked my oil and it has broken down considerably and it hasn't been driven more than 50 miles since the last change. I'm going to replace it with a synthetic 10-40 rather than 10-30, unless a thicker oil is recommended?
Compression fine, new fuel filter, tune up & pcv valve. So, I'm going to get a egr gasket and check that tomorrow. How should I check for a vacuum leak? where could it come from? If that's not it it might be the clutch
i think i'm going to be depressed for a couple days cuz the clutch I knew was on it's way out since I got the truck.
Is any year clutch kit compatible? They used to have some good deals on clutch kits on ebay but go figure now they don't! If so I can use a later model kit I might be able to save alot.
