Weird sound when im pressing the gas
It sounds like a squeeky brake... I have listened to it and it comes from behind the engine almost like its in the transmission but im not in gear.. if im in gear it is just as bad..
Its the v6, Mopar AX-15 5 Speed transmission..
It drives fine, just sounds really bad I parked it.. anything I can check that would make a weird sound.. it seems that if i press lightly (just barely past idle) it is loud (around 1200-1500 rpm)

Sounds like either a bad pilot bearing or bad throwout bearing. Since you said it happens all the time, its more likely to be the pilot bearing. If you had said it only happened with the clutch pedal depressed, I'd say its the throwout bearing.
How many miles are on the clutch? Its honestly not worth replacing the pilot bearing if you don't also replace the clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing along with it. Also, get the flywheel resurfaced while you are replacing the clutch. But its just too much work to have to turn around and do again when the clutch goes out!

Ah yea but at Idle there is no noise at all..
It only happens sometimes, other times and at higher speeds I dont hear anything at all, I saw a post about maybe a bad intake gasket letting out pressure is that possible?
Yea, about 140k on the clutch but it drives really great, I dont have the space to pull out the tranny.. anyone know how much doing all that would cost?

I honestly can't see a bad plenum gasket making a noise like that! But then again, I can't hear the noise, so I can only go by how you describe it.
Does your truck have excessive oil consumption and pinging? Cause those would be the noticable side effects of a bad plenum gasket if it were leaking so bad that it made an audible noise.
I'm sticking with the pilot or throwout bearing.

Nope your probably right, I havent had it leak any oil at all and its been really clean up until now... would the bearing be just maybe going out? so sometimes it wont be noticeable and sometimes it would?
Thanks a bunch for the info you know alot more about the tranny than i do!

Yeah, chances are the bearing is starting to go out, and will probably get worse.
Right now, you'd probably be safe to drive it for a little while. However, eventually that bearing will seize up, which will can lead to excessive heat and wear on the transmission's input shaft.
If you do end up replacing it yourself, be sure to pack the new bearing full of grease! It really sucks to have to replace a clutch early because those bearings go out first!
As for the cost of a clutch kit you asked about... you can get them for less than $200 with the clutch disc, pressure plate, and both bearings, along with an alignment tool. Should be all you'd need except for grease. A mechanic is going to charge a whole lot of money to replace one though!!!

Thats great news, I really apriciate it!
Any idea on if its worse to re-do the syncro's and whatnot would that make a difference on how it drives? if its coming out i want it to go back good lol

Thats getting into territory I unfortunately know nothing about at this time! I've never had to rebuild a manual transmission... maybe someday though. Also, I have the NV3500 in my truck, so I know more about those than I do the AX-15.
But let me ask this... does it grind at all going into any gear (except reverse)? If there is no grinding there, the syncros are fine, and theres no reason to go into the transmission to try and replace them. Replacing a clutch and the bearings surrounding it is a saturday job... rebuilding a transmission is a little bit more involved!!

Ah.. yes probably better to make it easy on myself, your right! Thanks again, if I get a chance ill record the noise tho and see if I can post it up so you can see if its something else
