When my truck is about empty or at least looks like it is, it fills up full with 18 gallons of gas. I think i remember somebody saying it was either a 20 or 21 gallon tank, is this an optional gas tank size, whats the standard v8 ext cab size?

 

Its a 22 gallon tank. My gas light typically comes on with around 18 gallons to full. I think one time I put over 21 gallons it.

 

i know my 93 is 22 gallons...i filled it from empty(ran out of gas) and came up just over 22gal and that was with trying to start it again

 

22 gallons unless it ordered with an 18 gallon. I think that was the size.

 

No, the standard was a 15 gallon tank, the optional was a 22 gallon tank.

But... I don't know of any v8s that came with the 15 gallon tank. I think that was for the 4 and maybe some of the low optioned 6 cylinders if not specified otherwise.

 

i put 18 in mine the iother day and it was on e soo not a clue sorry and mines a v6

 

When I requested my build sheet from Chrysler the entry they gave me was:

NFBP - 22 Gallon Fuel Tank

I have the 318 as well.
