glove box wont stay closed

Default glove box wont stay closed

so i had issues with the glove box opening when i hit bumps. well the damn thing is completly fubar now the latch will not catch to hold the door shut. anyone have some experience on how that thing works or how to fix? i see a spring and a little hook thing both come out im not sure if thats normal lmao but i could use a little help lol

That happened to me when I first got my truck. There is a very simple fix... grab the bar that the latch attaches to when closed and bend it outward.

And when its fixed, don't slam the glove box closed! If you do, you'll bend that bar back in. Close it gently.

i need the whole turning lock assembly for the door mine is fubar i found out anyone have one??
