clutch problems

Yeah... money sucks doesn't it?! Thats one of the biggest reasons my trucks not back on the road right now!

But just to be able to say you tried as hard as you could to make it work, you should re-bleed the system.

I really, truly think its a lost cause at this point, but whats a few more minutes under the truck!

yeah right...the only problem now for me being under the truck is its raining. although i was under and intrepid earlier trying to get a belt on(the tensioners wouldn't loosen) and i was soaked from laying in grass...lol but yeah i'll try it again just to say i did... cuz i haven't mesed with it since i started this thread..

well yesterday i went and started teh truck up in gear to see if the clutch readjusted itself(slave cylinder) and it did. i ran it through the gears with the clutch pressed to see and it acted all fine. so i took it down the road as a test and she ran excellent except the one time she backfired as i had the pedal to the floor in 3rd and let off teh gas too quickly. other than some minor stuff needing to be done, i'd say shes almost road worhty again(and just in time for expensive insurance screw-ups)...

you betcha!!! lol it was fun driving on a major road for the first time in 4 months. although in about a week or 2 i have to pull the transmission back out to replace my made up to pivot arm clip with the right one as a saftey action.

and i'd like to thank you and everyone else for your input and patience. i'm sure it was stressful trying to help me...lol
