4.56s are the ideal gear for 35s, but 4:10s work just fine and will have to because you can't go 4.56s on the front.

The cv shafts and spider gears will not last long up against 35s. The little 7.25" front axle is not a strong axle.

There is nothing wrong with a body lift. 2 inches won't make the truck look stupid. It will give you more room to work under the truck (like removing the transfer case). Also, I never moved my rear bumper up and I never intend to. It doesn't look bad.

Seriously though, if you intend to use this truck offroad, get rid of the IFS. Its weak, not designed to be lifted, and won't flex well once it is lifted. If you really want to run 35, you should look into doing a solid front axle swap.

yea, I'll probably be getting a body lift later this summer. First, I need the gears put in. Have any of yall ever used wheel adapters? I want to go from 6 on 4.5 to 6 on 5.5. The chevy lug pattern has a wide variety of rims.

For gears I would suggest http://www.ringpinion.com/ You will need the ring and pinion set and install kit for both axles. If your planing to install it your self, you should download the service manual. It gives a good description on how to. It needs to be done 100% perfect. If not you run the chance of destroying the gears.

For spacers www.ebay.com is the best place to find them. Search by wheel lug size. Blue12 has used them for his 38's. As far as I remember he had no problems with them. I thought of using some to offset the wheels so it doesn't rub on the frame.
