lol. when filling the transmission up is the fluid supposed to come out a bit of the fill hole?

Yes, fill it until it starts coming out of the fill hole and then its full!

and for adjusting the brake switch, there is a button on it faceing toward the back of the vehicle that you push till it stops clicking. that'll adjust it

i pulled the bed off and went to town on the fuel pump, since my guage stopped working. found out that something was smeared all over the contact for the float.

i don't know but it was like watery metalic paint.
but i cleaned it off and tested the float and guage and everything worked like brand new

So you cleaned it? That's it? My stupid gauge only reads from a half tank to full. Under that it goes dead until the gas light comes on. Then the gauge will work again. Its annoying that in between that time. I have to guess whats in there. And living out here where you might not find a gas station for 50 miles or more is a big deal.
