Well after another issue with RPM Machine (yes I'm bashing them again), when I was on the phone with them, I told them I needed .020 Pistons instead of Standards because I was cutting the block, well when I received the packages on Wednesday they send me the .000 Pistons. I got on the phone with them again and told them they messed up and I needed the pistons I ordered. They said I asked for Standards (I know I ordered .020's), well after talking with them again they wanted $330.00 for the correct ones. I was temped on saying send me the return packing slips, but knowing I couldn't get them anywhere else in my area within a week I had no choice. I told them I needed them for the next day (another $100), total for this time $450. I'll never deal with them again, that's for sure. But Thursday morning they were at my house, GREAT rushed them down to the machine shop to have them pressed into the Arms and got the Block, Pistons and Crank Shaft back that same day, spent a couple hours on it Thursday night to get the Rings on the Pistons, Pistons In, Crank Seals, and Rear Main Seal in and figured I'd attack it in the morning. Well 8am, low eyed and suffering from lack of Caffeine (quick stop at Dunkin Donuts fixed that), got to work on the motor, put it all together by 8:30pm. put it in the truck, put the oil in and went to fire it up before I left, just to see if it would fire. Well after about 30 minutes of trying to get it started I gave up and figured I'd go back at it in the morning. Well jumped right back at it today, and got her running, had to replace 2 sensors before I could get it but well worth it, had to replace the Cam Sensor and Crank Sensor. When I did that she fired up, and got her timed, coolant bleed, and everything else, now the engine is quite and the exhaust is loud instead of both. But I do need to thank, Jason and Archie at Brakemasters USA and Josh at Atlantic Land Rover, both in Milford, CT for helping me out and Center Machine Shop in Stratford, CT for getting the block done and giving me a good price and good work. Now the hard part is waiting 1,500 miles BEFORE I can really gas her.

Nice. I'm glad it all worked out at the end.
