Question Any advice would be great!

I have a 93 Dakota 4x4, standard tranny, 3.9 V6, and I love it. It runs great, but I have 2 problems.

The engine has a super small tick.. and I've been told that it very well could be my serpentine belt. Apparently, theres chances that if I just replace it, (because its cracked, and one of the pulley's could be a bit loose) it could just stop the tick.

And, as for driving.. all my gears are good, but when Im in 3rd going around 50-60 km/h, I get this weird small wobble type of thing. Its hard to explain, but feels just like as if you were going into gear and pulled the clutch too fast out.. but its not that severe. its a small issue, but I need to know whats going on/how to fix it.

I just bought this truck, and plan to keep good care of it, I'd like to drive it for a long time. if anyone has any advice or tips to help me out, it'd be appreciated. Thanks!

Replace the belt and then see if you have any bad u-joints or a bad/loose race bearing on the drive shaft. Its under the cab area. It should be nice and tight. I know the old one had the rubber damper known to fail after being aged. But the new ones I got, did not.

I've gotta replace the belt for sure but to me, my U-joints look good. However, when I bought the truck.. inside the cab had about 3 to 4 new U-joints in boxes, so that was telling me obviously it goes through U-joints fast. If I had a bad/loose race bearing would my drive shaft have alot of play in it?
