I am installing new speakers in my truck's cab ('95 Dakota SLT) and was wondering what the size of the Torx bolt that holds the seatbelt into place is?

I can't get the panels off until I take off the bolt. Any other ways to take out this bolt? (its a very large Torx size...)

 

Its a T50.

 

Large Allen wrenches would work too.

 

If it's the same as my 92 you can carefully pry the speaker grills off. Also a pair of vise grips will work in a pinch to get them out.

 

Did you have that memorized or had to look it up?

 

Lol, I actually did have to go back out and check. I couldn't remember if it was a T50 or T55. It's been a while since the last time I took those off.

I got a T50 bit and changed out the speakers earlier today!
