vibration

Unhappy vibration

hello i have a vibration only when im on the gas tho if i let of the gas vibration gone im stumped any help would be nice 96 dakota 3.9 4x4 ext cab

Loose U-joint on the rear drive shaft.

I agree with the u joint. Pull the driveshaft and check them for play. I wouldn't be able to say it is the rear one, but I just had the same problem and it was the u joint.

u joints are the problem now my next qustion is wher do you guys buy them from i have put 3 sets in my truck and burt them all out i got them at advance auto .and yes i had my drive shaft spun it is good

Napa carries quality parts. Since you killed 3 U- Joints it sounds like some else is wrong making them fail. A bad transmission monut, or a bad driveshaft or bad installation.

I always buy my ball joints and u joints from napa also.

i got mine from advance auto parts, they do seem kinda junky but i check them every week just incase(i've already had them blow apart on me) next time i'm going to napa.

get U joints that have grease fittings and grease them once in a while.
