Just like the title says. It hesitates and jumps and other such undesirable behavior when it goes to shift, especially from 1st to 2nd, but only under light throttle. When i accelerate with moderate to heavy throttle it shifts perfect, no hesitation or anything. I am thinking this is some kind of hydraulic issue, but I just wanna make sure? and if someone could point me in the direction of what under my hood isn't working quite right, I would appreciate.

Truck is 92 Dakota 5.2, auto (of course), rolled over 200k yesterday. But its been doing this since I bought it.

 

It may be the TV cable. Check the FAQ for a link on how to adjust it.
