Default rock or pressure plate?

since i finally got my truck re insured, i've been taking it easy trying to figure out my new gas mileage. well' i was on my way home from the bank(about 5 minutes away) and got the itch. when the light turned green i took off and just happen to get stuck trying to get into 3rd. after that my truck made this rattling squeak sound everytime i pressed the clutch pedal to change gears. it sounds like some one sticking a metal rod into a fan but its more of a squeak with a slight rattle tone. could i have gotten a rock lodged in the clutch or broke a pressure plate finger? its kinda starting to **** me off cuz i don't have time to pull everything apart only to have to spend another 100$+ on a new clutch although thats what its looking like.

thanks in advance

Could be a broken piece of the pressure plate or rock like you said. Try to take a look. Hopefully it is a rock and you can get it out some how.

spoke to my dad yesterday and he said it sounds like the throwout bearing seized up. i pulled the slave cylinder out and tried to sneak a peek in the little hole before i did anything drastic but my stupid led flashlight kept dimming because of the angle. when i push the throwout bearing arm you can definitely here that something is loose though so it looks like i'll be pulling the trans off again.

i pulled the trans off today and it turned out to be the throwout bearing had ground up. luckily i had a replacement one and there was no damage to the pressure plate... good as new
