i have a 93 dakota 4x4 with a 95 dam 5.9 in it. it dont keep a charge and dont get a spark can anyone help

Most likely it is your alternator or wires. Most auto parts stores can check it for free.

And as for No Spark it can be anything. On Dakotas the most typical issue is a bad power splice just below the relay box. Check the 1st Generation Dakota Sub-Forum FAQ, here in this section.

 

Is this problem resolved?

If not, you could also try checking loose wires on the coil and the coil itself. Could be a loose wire connection, one that fell off, or a broken wire entirely.
