Post 1993 V6 radiator in a 1991 V8? Need to know asap!

I need a radiator and I found on 2 hours away but he had it for a V6, its brand new, but I have a V8 and the auto store said that the V8 one is about 1/4 inch thicker. His came out of a 1993 or 1994 and I have a 1991

the dimesnions for mine are
18 1/4" x 25 5/8" x 1 1/4"

and for the one he has

im guessing its about

17 5/8" x 25 7/8" x 1 1/2"
according to the one on oreilly's website for the 1993 v6

but it says its compatable to

1992-1996 Dodge Dakota
V8 - 5.2L vin Y 318ci - MFI GAS OHV
V6 - 3.9L vin X 239ci - MFI GAS OHV
V8 - 5.2L vin T 318ci - MFI CNG OHV

1/4 more shouldn't be to bad. Just go take a look to check if you can fit 1/4 more in front and in back. And the more thickness will help improve cooling power.

I checked on that earlier, the hose outlets on the 92+ radiators are different. New 92+ are around $150 plus you'd need new hoses.
