Default no spark problem

okay, so my friend's truck will crank, however it will not start. There is no spark out of the ignition coil. I have checked all of the fuses/relays (i think, even the ones that didn't go with the ignition system). I have heard something of the splice under the fuse panel but i need some more information on it & some more ideas of what the issue could be.

Thanks guys
It's a 94 Dodge Dakota V6 (3.9 L i think)

the pdc under the hood on the drivers fender, the auto shutdown relay and fuel pump splice is what you would be looking for.

So the splice under the fuse panel is for the fuel pump?

I have a 94 dakota, 318, same no spark, fuel or check engine, motor turns over but no start, it turns out all it was is a badly corroded conection in the wiring harness, disconnect the battery for safety, cut approx 6-8" of the harness tape/ covering, starting at the main engine fuse relay block that sits beside the battery, you will find 4 red wires soldered together, mine was covered in white chalky powder and broken apart, clean everything up, connect back together with a wire crimp or something, should start instantly, good luck!!

The splice is for the fuel pump and the ASD relay.
