beach pull???
i have the 93 3.9l 4x4...
i looked at the faqs for towing and only saw for the 5.2l engines...
anyways how safe is it for me to help pull people out if they get stuck at beach???
yesterday i pulled some acura integra rsx who was trying to climb the dunes haha... i assumed small cars and mid to small trucks is my range...
what do u guys think? and how much does bein in the sand, tires spinning and pulling compare with a concrete tow with no ease of breaking loose?

Yes it does have the tow ratings for the 3.9.
It is okay to save someone who is stuck. But it truly depends on how often and how hard you run the truck. If you do it everyday the stress on the truck will get to it at some point. If you hitting it hard, hard pulls, hard hits ect then that causes a lot of stress on the truck frame, transmission, engine ect.
Don't know how you are doing it, but a good tow strap is best. No chains! Hooking it up to your hitch, which is the strongest point to pull. Lower your tire pressure while in the sand, that will increase your footprint. Offroading tires are best for traction. A rear locker will help too.
If you plan on pulling a lot of people out a good HD winch would be your best plan.
And where are the pics?
