hi,
i have a 92 dodge dakota le ex. cab with a 318. the problom i am haveing with it is that the head lights wont turn on. now when i go to turn them on i get dash lights, ambers, tail lights, plate lights but no head lights. also when i go to turn on the brights they will flash and then trun off. i dont know if it is the light switch or somthing with the wireing, or even the multi function switch. its been a good truck this is the first real problom iv had with it. please help.

First check the fuse. Then check the wiring. Check for power at the headlights. The service manual has a way to test the switch. You can download it in the FAQ2 in this section.

Did you pull the switch all the way out and not just far enough to turn the running lights on? lol j/k man. Hope you fix your problem.

 

ha, yea i did doublw check that. but it was what everyones problom is the dum headlamp switch. got a new one at advance poped it in all fixed. it was recomended to put at relay in tho.
