Default Brake light

My break light keeps staying on and flashes off occasionally. this problem just started after i let someone drive my truck, I also seems like I have to put my foot down alot more on the brakes. I'm unsure what the problem is.

my best guess would be fluid or air in the brake lines (not fun when you cant stop driving around town and have to slam it into park)

mine comes on and all i have to do is touch the e-brake up a little bit and it goes off. its like the pedals too heavy for the sensor

Thanks guys. I'm going to consult my manual and see if I can figure it out today or tomorrow.
