I have a 1990 3.9 4x4 Dakota. I don't think the ASD relay location and splice is in the same location for 92+ as for 91- trucks. That is there's no power distribution or fuse box behind the battery. The fuse panel is under the drivers side dash.

My truck cranks but won't start. I changed the coil but there's no voltage to the coil, no spark out of the coil wire and I'm not hearing the fuel pump.

 

Please refer to the FAQ Section to answer this question. There is a whole area on it, and shows and marks where it would be.

 

Yes the earlier models may be different. And the splice may not be your problem. But you can still check for power at the ASD relay and fuel pump relay. Get a volt meter out and check.

 

I checked the FAQ section and it doesn't show the location of the relays on a 1990. It shows 1992-1996. There is no PDC box behind the battery.

Next to the ASD relay lol. If someone can find one or the othere they will find both. Not trying to be a smart@ss even though ut kinda sounds like it.
