Default coolant hose

I'm looking for someone who has the 4 cyl 2.5 ltr engine.

I think I have a coolant hose on incorrectly. See the attached picture. Seem really bent. It's the one that goes behind the engine. If you could show me a pic of what it's suppose to be attached like.....thanks in advance.

That is definitely not supposed to look like that. It appears to be a heater hose by the size of it. I dont have the 4 cyl, but kinks definitely shouldnt happen like that. Do you have the correct hose for your application? If you are truly having issues, go to the parts store and look into heater hose elbows and couplers and give it a better flow by doing so.

Yeah it is a heater hose. I know it's the correct part as I took it off when replacing the head gasket. I'm just having a issue getting it back on. I didn't take a picture of it before I took it off. So I'm looking for someone that has the 2.5 engine that can help me out on this one.
Maybe I have it on backwards...or maybe it is suppose to be bent a little, I just need to wiggle it some more, etc....

Thanks,
Hutch

Can someone move this to the 1st Gen forum. Didn't realise I didn't post it there until now.
Thanks,
Hutch

It looks like youve got it hooked up right, just isnt sitting in the normal spot, I apologize in advance for the messy engine, my valve cover gasket decided it wanted to coat the right side of my motor with oil and gunk... for 20 years it'd seem.
