You can download the full service manual in the FAQ in this section. It has the R&R of everything on the truck.

Nice to see you again, and THANKS for that tip on the build sheet!

@ Crazy4x4RT - Please forgive my being slow sometimes, but how? I clicked on FAQ above, and that lead me to a search. I put in "service manual" and it did not like that too much!

edit: Ohhhhhhh. The sticky labeled FAQ as opposed to the FAQ link in the navigation bar.... Now I get it!

edit: And your post in the 1st Gen section entitled "Factory Service Manual"...

edit: One last edit for now - Thank-you!

Oh that was not pretty-

The left side went fine, but when it came to the right side - front - the top bolt snapped off in the frame that holds the caliper, though the bottom removed without problem.

What the heck do I do now??? (Please!)

You mean the caliper bolt sheared off? I suspect... it'll need to be drilled out if that's the case.

Is this my answer?:

If so, do I drill out just the core section of the bolt or drill out the threads also?

I believe you'll want to drill out the core section of the bolt.

I would think you want to avoid drilling out the threads too, as this will cause a gap to which even the new pin can't fix.

I could be wrong so don't quote me, I'm no expert.

Anyone else want to weigh in and assist?

Used to live in SE Michigan - you are on the way between there and Toronto, aren't you? Beautiful country.

Suspect I will wait before doing any damage, get the bolt from Autozone, then see what I need do to make the darned thing go in and not come dropping out, though if there are any others out there that have been down this path, I would appreciate any warnings!
