The manual just says remove the cvs.
Your welcome.
I just had a thought. I only have the driver side lifted on a jack stand. I bet if I put the passenger side up too, the differential will be sitting where it is supposed to be and not cocked to one side. Thoughts?

OK...I finally got the lower control arm off the truck. I had to loosen the differential enough to move it out of the way of the last bolt. Now I can't seem to get the torsion bar out of the control arm. I tried a 3lb hammer and drift, an air chisel with a drift attachment, and I tried to heat it up but I don't think my propane torch actually got it hot enough to make a difference.

I do not have access to an acetylene setup but I can purchase a 12 ton shop press. Does anyone think the press might do the trick? I have to get this truck on the road and it's just one rusted component after another. I know this is expected on a truck this old but, jeez, enough already.

Oh yeah, has anyone had any luck finding the lower control arm bushings. The only ones I have found online are for RWD only and judging from the difference in the control arm, I do not think they will work.

If I cannot replace these bushings, how can I stop this incessant squeaking? It is making me crazy.
