dakota ignition wiring
bought a 89 dakota 3.9, someone butchered the wiring in it. the primary coil lead is spliced into a set of green/black wires that run from the ecm to a relay on the drivers side fender, tied in at the same spot is a wire running from the fuse box pulled from the radio circuit (so that it works with the ignition switch i guess). also the ignition switch won't turn the starter, instead two wires are pulled from the black and brown wires on an oblong silver relay also on the drivers side fender, closer to the firewall and into a starter button under the dash. Any ideas on how to make sense of this mess? Truck has rough idle and stalls at stop. sounds like it is missing or starving for fuel while driving.
