Default Oil pan??????????

anyone know if the oilpan off a 97 ram fullsize 4X4,will it fit my 96 dakota 2wd???? 5.9 ofcourse!lolol

It will bolt up to the engine but as far as clearances it should work. But who knows. Take some measurements and find out.

Default did.....

tried to get the motor in but the oil pan is sittin on the crossmember...maybe im just not holdin my tongue right!lol

It absolutely will not fit!! Its about 1and a half inches to big!!uuuuugggggggg.....

Just get an oil pan for a 92-96 Dakota with a 5.2.

$60 took care of the problem at advance auto parts...oil pan part # crp25a!!! the pan gasket is $30

Thats not a bad price, well for the pan. The gasket sounds high. But at least you got it.

I thought it was a little bit high too but everywhere else was a few dollars higher than that....ill be postin pics of my "progress" later tonite!
